About Mark

Mark has over 30 years within the golf industry, experienced in working with golfers of all abilities from the complete beginner to fellow golf professionals. His style of coaching has been moulded over 25 years from working with European Golf Tour Coach Peter Thompson.

Mark started his golf career at Perranporth Golf Club before moving to Tehidy Park as the Head Teaching Professional, he then moved with his family to be the Head Professional at the well renowned Championship Links Course in Tenby South Wales where he enjoyed the lifestyle and the responsibility it presented for over 11 years where he also established himself as a County Coach.

He then moved back to his native Cornwall where he now coaches full time at Treloy Golf Club. He is also contracted by the Cornwall Golf Partnership to teach the under 14’s & under 18’s Elite Squad members.

Mark says…

“Golfers of course cannot see their own swings, however with the use of a visual aid it becomes much easier to learn and allows the golfer to see their swing within seconds of the shot being played and with expert analysis the improvement in technique can be dramatic and hence improved shots leading to lower scores, remember that you only ever swing as well as you stand, the downswing is a product of where you hit from and the most dangerous word in golf is the word ‘comfortable’.”
I look forward to creating a golf swing for you.
